I had a great experience with Mark. I engaged him to sell my mom's home in the Lake Norman area after she passed away unexpectedly, which I had to handle entirely from out of state. Mark was thoughtful, communicative, and detailed, handling everything for me and making the process as smooth as possible. He was upfront with me about potential concerns, including a new development planned near the property, and realistic about our options. When offers came in, he handled negotiations quickly, but also put in the effort to make sure I got the best deal possible, even when he knew I would have been willing to settle for less. He also went above and beyond by absorbing the cost of an administrative error that was not his fault, and I cannot speak enough to his kindness and good character. Mark took the time to really understand what I was looking for, not just on paper but what actually mattered to me. At the time, I had a budget in mind that I really didn't want to exceed. I could technically afford more, but I was trying to be conservative. We found a home that was priced above what I'd originally planned, and Mark walked me through exactly why it was the right fit and why it made sense long-term, even though it meant stretching a bit. Mark is extremely professional and not to mention friendly! He is very well-versed in regard to the town of Mooresville and the surrounding. As soon as a house he listed popped up, we chatted and he met us there at a time that worked with our busy schedule. He gave information that helped tremendously when it came to the possible purchase of a home for our Father in Law. Mark helped us with a long-distance move from Minneapolis to the Charlotte/Lake Norman area, and we couldn't have asked for a smoother experience. We were referred to him by our agent in Minneapolis, and from day one it was clear why. We were coming from a century-old home we absolutely loved, and finding something with that same traditional character isn't easy in the Lake Norman market. Mark understood exactly what we were looking for, and on our very first day of house hunting he found us a newer home built in a traditional style — we fell in love the moment we saw it. He also connected us with an outstanding lender, which made the financing side of a long-distance move so much easier.
