Rezoning was recently approved for Mooresville Village, a proposed mixed-use development spanning nearly 100 acres along N.C. 115. Mooresville Village will rest at the intersection of the new East-West Connector road, currently under construction, and Highway 115.

The development plans include a 51,000-square-foot grocery store, office, retail, and restaurant spaces, with the potential addition of a hotel. Additionally, Mooresville Village plans to offer up to 625 residential units. The residential layout is planned with apartment buildings situated on the northern end near the connector road, and single-family homes adjacent to Bridges Farm Road on the southern end.

The development will feature sidewalks and tree-lined streets, the Mooresville SEAM Trail (an extra-wide walking and biking path along Highway 115), and a village green with a performance pavilion surrounded by restaurants. Construction is planned to begin in 2025 and finish in 2028.
