In recent years we’ve noticed quite a few retail locations closing up shop in Mooresville. I hate seeing empty shells where thriving businesses used to be. Needless to say, I was happy to see Barnes & Noble finally making progress on opening their new Store in Mooresville Crossing Shopping center in the old Petco space. They had originally planned to open last fall. When we saw the sign go up last week my wife was excited! My 10-year-old son…not so much. I’m glad to see these empty spaces getting filled again. Barnes & Noble will be opening on May 8th.
Nordstrom Rack Will be setting up shop in the former Bed, Bath, and Beyond location beside Best Buy. They are scheduled to open in September 2024.
Cornerstone Church
I meet so many people during the course of my week. Whether they’re moving from the other side of town or the other side of the country some of the most common questions are about schools and churches. We certainly have our options for both! I’ve attended Cornerstone Church for the last 12-13 years so it’s difficult for me to tell you much about other churches but if you’re looking for a Pastor that preaches the Word without compromising it might be worth a visit.
