You can barely walk out your front door these days without noticing all of the ground breaking underway in Mooresville.

Yes, a lot of it IS apartments but that’s a topic for a later time. Over the next few editions of the Mooresville Minute I will focus on properties that I seem to get a lot of questions about. Stay Tuned.

Thumbs Up Car Wash is coming to this sliver of land on the corner of Morrison Plantation Parkway and Brawley School Road. I can already hear it…Just what we need, another car wash. The project is approved and will break ground soon. There was some initial opposition to the project. The primary entry and exit point for the car wash will be Swift Arrow Drive which happens to also be the only entry and exit point for Brawley Middle School. Some folks were concerned that the increased traffic could be dangerous given the number of children that walk to and from the school each day. A valid concern.

There are also plans for another car wash to potentially be built across from Outback Steak House (different company). Regardless of how you feel about it one thing is for certain. They’ll be no excuse for dirty cars in Mooresville.
